In the year 2280, scientists created a miracle drug called Alphandovir. It was the cure for every disease known to man. Doctors called it, “The Alpha and Omega”—the first and last vaccine a human would ever need.

After a rushed trial, the world stood in line to receive their four doses. The human body fought back, though, and the vaccine became the fastest-killing epidemic ever. World leaders blamed each other, leading to the Great War. Nations wiped out nations, and billions died.

What the Sickness didn’t kill, nuclear war did. Survivors, left without technology or weapons, reverted to a medieval lifestyle. They grew their own food, forged their own weapons, and rebuilt what they could.

This dystopian fantasy chronicles mankind living in peace—temporarily. Struggle is inevitable, and mutations from nuclear war and Alphandovir created strange powers in some humans and animals.

One faction sought seclusion, finding refuge in an abandoned city within an endless mountain range. These last good people, hoping for peace, became known as The Children of the Forgotten. This dystopian fantasy tells their story of survival in a world forever changed by the Great War.
